On March 4, 2021, CLEANTECH LATVIA Executive director Evija Pudāne presented Latvia’s digitization experience on UNDP Uzbekistan organized international forum for Green Recovery!
The forum was aimed at discussing the progress of Uzbekistan in recovery from COVID-19, and how government, business, and society can come together and put in place new policies and incentives for green recovery.
CLEANTECH LATVIA participated in the fourth session “Enabling Environment for the Digital Transformation in the Private Sector” led by the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan. E. Pudāne shared how SMEs un public sector open collaboration is the driving force for transformationof economies and shared 3 inspirational experiences of digitization in Latvia:
- Mappost Ltd. waste management process optimization, using geospatially smart task planning, scheduling and route optimization system. Mappost solution offers the data of client base, location of waste bins and all related information for drivers, optional routing and statistics of the fulfillment of tasks;
- SunGIS Ltd. developed GoGIS system, which is used by majority of municipalities in Latvia. GoGIS acccumulates and visualises data of various environment elements, real estate and development planning, infrastructure and roads as well as external networks of utilities and structures;
- Smartest city in Latvia – Jelgava and their innovative managements solutions.
