During the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Russian Federation visit to Kazahn, (Republic of Tatarstan,  Russian federation, September 9-11), CLEANTECH LATVIA visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. There representatives of companies and state institutions were presented with the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and Talia Minnulina, head of the Investment Development Agency, shared experience of Tatarstan’s relationship with investors and procedures the Republic takes to attract foreign investment.

Tatarstan is one of the most dynamically developed regions of the Russian Federation, which actively attracts foreign investment to the economy: at present, the regional portfolio has more than 150 investment projects for a total of 764 billion rubles.

During the visit, Talia Minnulina acknowledged the need to reinforce investment activities between the two countries – Latvia and Tatarstan.
