MINING AND METALS CENTRAL ASIA 2019

25th anniversary exhibition “Mining and Metals Central Asia 2019” and the 16th “Kazakhstan International Exhibition Kazcomak 2019”, the subject of which is dedicated to special and road construction equipment, were opened on September 18 in Almaty.

The mining and metallurgical industry is a system-forming industry, with an extensive transport and logistics, service, and processing infrastructure. It forms about 7% of GDP, 25% of industrial production and 24% of Kazakhstan’s total exports.

In this exhibition, new partner of one our cluster’s members INDUCONT – Kazakh company “Engineering Center”, is participating as an exhibitor. Recently, INDUCONT and Engineering Center entered into a dealership agreement for sales of Fitch fuel catalysts in Kazakhstan, due to which our partner’s products are already presented at the exhibition.

The mining and metallurgical sector of Kazakhstan is very energy intensive and its dependence on fuel is very high. Fitch catalysts contribute to improved fuel combustion, which reduces fuel consumption, thus reducing environmental pollution.

Together with MINING AND METALS CENTRAL ASIA 2019, the exhibition “Translogistica Kazakhstan” was held in parallel, dedicated to the topic of transport and logistics. The Ministry of Transport of Latvia, as well as companies from neighboring Baltic countries – Estonia and Lithuania, participated in this exhibition with their stands. Traditionally, logistics companies from the Baltic countries are key players in this field in Kazakhstan, providing export of Kazakhstan goods to European markets.

We hope that exhibitions “Mining and Metals Central Asia 2019” and “Translogistica Kazakhstan” will be fruitful and will bring mutually beneficial projects to our partners.
