CLEANTECH LATVIA, which is one of the founders of the Finnish-Latvian meta-cluster BALTIC CLEANTECH ALLIANCE on 03-07 October held a business visit to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Within the framework of this visit a business forum to promote innovative environmentally friendly technologies in Kyrgyzstan was held in Bishkek on 04-05 October. In turn, in Kazakhstan a similar business forum was held in Almaty on 06-07 October.
The main objective of both forums was to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between local companies and our partners, as well as to present the modern technologies from Finland and Latvia, using as an example the successful projects that demonstrate environmental benefits.
It should be noted that it was the first time our CLANTECH LATVIA delegation was such large. The delegation consisted of 11 representatives from 10 member companies: Karme Filtrs, Auravia, Aqua-Brambris, AKORDA, Ekostandarts Tehnologijas, Technobalt, Biotehniskais centrs, Latvian State Forest Research Institute “Silava”, as well as our new partners INDUCONT and Grupa93.
