Winner of Latvian Cleantech Ideas Competition is announced

Latvian Cleantech Ideas  Competition has finished. Congratulations to the winning team Wave Power Only (WPO) and the CEO Mr. Rims Vaitkuss

Latvian Global Ideas Competition was part of Global Ideas Competition, a featured event of of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Global Ideas Competition Finals took place in Silicon Valley, US on November 8-9, 2012. More than 1000 leading cleantech inventors, startups, mentors and investors took place in the event. Winning team from Latvia WPO took presented their idea to the judges via Skype and got great feedback from international cleantech experts and investors.

This year’s competition was a great and in many ways successful Pilot. We got a lot of press traction and feedback, as well as learned a lot. 2013 competition will be grater, better organized and have cross cleantech sector coverage.
