On the October 10 CLEANTECH LATVIA took part in a „Green innovation seminar and matchmaking event” set up by Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and “Innovation Norway”. During the matchmaking event CLEANTECH LATVIA met with its potential partners from Norway and discussed future collaboartion activities and the possibilities of common exploration of new markets mostly in Central Asia. On October 23.-24.th Cleantech Latvia and VARAM representative Rudīte Vesere attended the plenary session “Green Bridge Partnership Programme: perspectives and mechanisms of realization” which was held in the framework of the International Forum EXPO-2017 “Energy of the Future: C02 emissions decrease” on October 23rd – 24th, 2014.
The Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairing the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS), jointly with the Executive Committee of IFAS is organizing an International Conference “Development of cooperation in the Aral Sea Basin to mitigate consequences of enviromental catastrophe”on October 28-29, 2014, in Urgench city of Klhorezm region.
On October 8th Vilnius hosted the international round table devoted toEXPO-2017 with the participation of Lithuanian and Latvian experts.
Cleantech Latvia members and closest business partners came together to discuss and evaluate cluster’s accomplishments in the past year and plan the next steps in order to to promote clean technology industry’s development, recognition and advance in cluster’s members competitiveness.
“ЭКВАТЭК-2014″ is the leading water technology exhibition in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe and this year it will be held in the International Exhibition Centre “Crocus Expo” June 3 to 6. Several Cleantech Latvia representatives and water management partners will be participating in this exhibition and presenting themselves with personalized stand.
The practical conference will be held in the framework of Latvia – Kazakhstan cooperation “The transition to „a green economy” through the introduction of environmentally – friendly technologies” on 5th – 7th of December in Riga, Latvia.
On the 5th of September CleanTech Latvia organized a seminar “Latvian experience in transition from Soviet Union’s infrastructures to modern solutions in the field of water management and water supply” in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan.
