Technology Transfer - Bringing the expertise and support to fill the gap between invention and innovation to support commercialization of clean technology inventions and solutions, transfer of knowledge and practical experience from science to business.
R&D - Promoting close cooperation among researchers and entrepreneurs in development of new products and technologies. Facilitating and bringing together groups of most innovative and advanced experts to collaborate on solving todays most significant Cleantech challenges.
Manufacturing - Introducing the most recognized solutions to production of globally competitive Cleantech products and services and maximizing the local potential in the field while introducing local companies and products to Cleantech global market.

Building the Bridge to Clean Technologies

In the framework of Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Business and Industry from January 2015 to April 2015 CLEANTECH LATVIA was implementing project “Building the Bridge between the Clean Technologies Nordic-Baltic and Central Asian Countries”, co-financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The aim of the project was to exchange the best practices between the environmental organizations in Nordic countries and CLEANTECH LATVIA, to jointly seek further ways for more effective and successful entry into the Central Asia region. Focus areas of the project was clean technologies (water management, energy efficiency, soil treatment, waste recycling, etc.), aiming to accumulate specific experience and knowledge of each of the parties. During the project three outgoing visits to Denmark, Norway and Finland and one incoming visit of Nordic partners to Latvia were carried out.

In the result of this project, CLEANTECH LATVIA in partnership with Finnish Water Forum and Green Net Finland created a common project application within INTERREG Central Baltic programme. Project „Central Baltic Cleantech Clusters expanding the East of EU markets” was approved on 1 September 2015 and will be implemented until August 2018.
