WHAT WE DO
You will be a part of the platform for development of new projects and partnerships. Our members use CLEANTECH LATVIA to identify new project opportunities, find partners and raise funding for projects.
We connect our members with relevant partners. CLEANTECH LATVIA facilitates the partnerships and you become a part of a strong network across various industries in Latvia. We organise events where you can meet your next partner or customer and stay updated on the latest knowledge in your specific area of expertise.
We bring your solutions abroad via attractive partnerships, and through cooperation with other leading cleantech clusters worldwide. CLEANTECH LATVIA is currently active in Central Asia and North-West Russia, in parallel market researches have been launched in India, Iran, Latin America and Eastern Partnership countries.
CLEANTECH LATVIA has successfully helped our members to decrease this costs by representing the companies in a number of international exhibitions and launching cooperation with companies abroad. For these purposes, we use different financial support instruments.
CLEANTECH LATVIA takes project administration responsibilities and actively attracts the support programs. We have extensive experience in financing acquisition through various support programs. Similarly, we represent interests of our members in the institutions that implement financial control.
Becoming a part of CLEANTECH LATVIA will strengthen your profile and brand. We focus on the visibility of the best case projects and results, concerning member companies and the cleantech sector in general, through conferences, events, matchmaking opportunities and through promotional and marketing activities.
Export market situation changes generate both increased risks and potential for growth. A falling demand for the company’s core business (impact of the Russian Embargo for example) could cause cash flow problems, thus jeopardizing the viability of the research project. In turn, potential projects, such as in Central Asia may require too great investment, beyond the reach of a single company.
CLEANTECH LATVIA will promote cooperation in the field of the implementation of joint projects in order to distribute potential risks.
Company co-operation with government and other state institutions is the factor of critical importance for cleantech industry development.
CLEANTECH LATVIA successfully cooperates with the Ministry of Economics of Latvia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development and the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, who are important partners in the implementation of activities, such as organizing trade missions, establishing contacts, strengthening and updating environment protection issues.
CLEANTECH LATVIA is a cluster of clean technologies, which brings together Latvian companies and research institutions to enhance the competitive advantages of each other, and the cluster as a whole.
