Today during Virtual Economic Forum “EU-Central Asia Dialogue on Partnership for Prosperity” high-level representatives of Central Asia and EU countries discussed issues how EU-Central Asia Partnership for Prosperity could be strengthened and facilitated. It was high level dialogue in preparation for the Economic Forum and discussion of opportunities for interregional cooperation in post-COVID-19 recovery.
The Forum drew special attention to the promotion of innovative and sustainable approaches to economic and business development, with a focus on greening the economy in all its aspects. Thus, the Forum greatly contributed to the implementation of the EU Strategy on Central Asia, which focuses on further development of partnership for prosperity.
🌿 We joined Senior officials/expert level discussion “Moving to the green recovery agenda in regional economic development” to discuss EU approaches and policies (European Green Deal, Team Europe), including circular economy/sustainable consumption and production, sustainable food systems as well as digitalisation issues.
